Genevieve’s Kitchen: The Flavors of Italy Are Never Too Far From Heritage Greene

Chef Genevieve grew up in a large Italian family and learned to cook from two of the best teachers around, her mother and her great aunt. It was at the elbows of these two matriarchs that she learned how to make many traditional dishes, including Italian spaghetti "gravy," or what most Americans know as spaghetti sauce. At Genevieve's Kitchen, Chef Genevieve brings the flavors from her childhood to Doylestown's State Street, not too far from Heritage Property Management Group.

Come to Genevieve's Kitchen for dinner and settle in for some of her freshly made pasta, such as the lumache. This "snail-shaped" pasta mingles with pulled Italian sausage, Tuscan kale, and a creamy ricotta cheese sauce, all dusted with pecorino cheese. You can also opt for a classic Italian entrée such as osso buco or chicken Milanese. The brunch menu at the restaurant includes everything from an Italian lox scramble to a Greek yogurt parfait accented with lemon curd, caramelized pistachios, and fresh pears.

Genevieve's Kitchen is open Tuesdays through Sundays.
