Calling All Bird Watchers at Heritage Pointe: Take a Guided Bird Walk at the Peace Valley Nature Center

Located just moments from Doylestown's Peace Valley Park, Peace Valley Nature Center strives to bridge the gap between nature and humans with hands-on learning opportunities. With Lake Galena at its center, the park boasts over 1,500 acres, with 14-plus miles of trails for running, bicycling, and beyond. Along the trails, you can encounter an incredible variety of wildlife, from birds to snakes, turtles, and deer!

One way to learn more about what you find on the trails is to take advantage of one of the many educational programs offered by the nature center. Led by knowledgeable naturalist guides, free bird walks are held multiple times per week at 8 a.m. They also offer the occasional night walk at 8 p.m. for a completely different experience and a chance to find even more unique species. Programs for kiddos are plentiful, with eco-explorer meetings, youth bird walks, and many summer programs that facilitate fun and exploration. And it's all located just over 6 miles from Heritage Pointe!
